This is a series of layouts done for a classical animation short that take place on a dock in northern Ontario.  These were drawn in pencil, photocopied, then rendered in marker.

This is a layout background done for a short film.  In this scene the main character runs through the frame from the left and across the river by way of the tree bridge. This was drawn in pencil, photocopied, then rendered in marker.
This shows the work up from a tonal marker rendering layout, to colour study, to final colour painting.  It was done as a test to see what a scene would look like if done in a really vibrant colour pallette instead of the black and white look that was originally planned.

This is a layout background done for a the opening shot of the short film Forkboy. This is a horizontal and vertical pan shown together that would start on the bottom left of the frame and track counter clockwise, ending with a zoom into the apartment window.  This was drawn in pencil, photocopied,then rendered in marker.
